There are several ways that you can help Best Buddies Canada enhance our communities through one-to-one friendships between people with intellectual disabilities and students.
Apply to be part of the program now:
Peer Buddy - Students without a disability who volunteer to create a friendship with someone who has an intellectual disability. (Before you apply, please ensure you have contact information for an emergency contact and a reference, as you will not be able to complete a volunteer application without this information.)
Buddy - A person with a disability who wants to create a friendship with a student volunteer.
Staff Advisor or Host Site Coordinator - An Adult who works for an Agency that Supports People with Intellectual Disabilities, or a teacher at a school who wants to play a support role.
The information requested in this application is required for the purposes of matching, screening and liability, as required by the position description. Information will be stored by Best Buddies Canada, and shared with your buddy match participant, if applicable.
