The 8th Annual Thrill of Ascot at Woodbine Racetrack!

Friday, May 2nd, 2014

On Saturday June 7th, Best Buddies, hosted the 8th Annual Thrill of Ascot at Woodbine Racetrack’s luxurious trackside pavilion. Over $200,000 was raised to help maintain and expand our national friendship program!

Thank you to everyone who came out to show their support for inclusion and friendship for everybody.

Bernadette Morra, Editor-in-Chief of FASHION Magazine was the Honorary Chair of the event. Highlights of the day included a special memorial race in honour of the late William Ballard and a very touching speech by two Best Buddies from Corpus Christi Secondary School in Burlington, ON.

We are already hard at work, planning another stellar Thrill of Ascot. We hope to see you again next year!
