The Spirit of Courage Award is one of Best Buddies International’s highest honours, presented to an Ambassador who shows extraordinary courage, leadership, and dedication to inclusion.
Jessica has made history as the first recipient from outside the United States to receive this prestigious award, making this recognition an incredible milestone.
As a Global Ambassador representing Best Buddies Canada, Jessica embodies Best Buddies’ mission every day, using her voice to advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Her advocacy has created meaningful change in her community and beyond, helping others to feel the same sense of belonging and opportunity that changed her own life.
